Our honey is 100% raw & unfiltered and sourced exclusively from American Beekeepers. That’s why our newest label, rolling into stores this summer, puts them front and center.

100 years of bottling have led to this moment. Our 1924 Golden Age Wildflower honey is now on shelves at @Sprouts Farmers Market🎉 Why's this such a big deal? Because we've been committed to sourcing and sharing the most unique honeys we can find from American beekeepers since Day One — all the way back in 1924. And we couldn't do that without partners like Sprouts, who help us bring these hard-to-find honeys to shoppers nationwide. In addition to this limited-edition 100th anniversary bottling, we're also sharing #100waystousehoney throughout 2024. Check them out on our TikTok or our blog.

Somebody check our math: 🔸A strong colony can make up to 35,000 flights per day during the foraging season. 🔹In one study, foragers collected pollen on around 42% of flights. 🔸Honey bees forage for around 8 hours a day, but it varies by location and weather. 🔹On each trip, a forager will visit around 75 flowers, but this also varies widely. (It can be up to 500.) 🔸Assuming you're watching during the day and not doomscrolling bee content at night, that works out to about 2,300 flowers per minute. #EarthDay

Yes, honey can prevent fruits like apples and pears from browning, even better than lemon water can. No, you don't have to use Washington honey. (But it would be really cool if you did😎) You can use any raw & unfiltered honey. Just add a bit of water to it, stir, then coat your apple slices for 30 seconds. You can wipe the excess honey off after, but trust us: you won't want to. Check out our blog for more of our favorite #100waystousehoney

100 years ago, we bottled honey raw & unfiltered, just the way the bees made it. And today, well, we're still doing the same exact thing. Taste the difference for yourself in our 1924 Golden Age Wildflower blend, named for the year we got our start bottling 100% U.S. honey. It's now available at Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market and our site.

Heliophysics is not really a big part of the bee's day-to-day life, so they are completely unaware of the eclipse on April 8th, 2024. Unlike us silly humans, they don't seem to be staring at the sun. (Even though they have five eyes.) They literally just chill out for a few minutes, unsure of what's happening. Is it nighttime? Is there a storm coming? Is there a predator swooping in? For about 5 minutes during a total solar eclipse, bees aren't sure. So, they slow down and take it all in. Learn more about how bees react to eclipses in our latest blog.

Take it from Jake, one of the Texas beekeepers we source from. Not only does harvesting honey NOT hurt bees, it can actually help save the hive from infestation and damage from predators and parasites.
